IF all I'm doing is reading, clearing codes ONLY (IE: NO diagnostic time spent), then I'd say 1/2 hours labor is fair, a "normal" flat rate fee BUT note, for that I'm not actually fault tracing anything, just reading and clearing (resetting) codes.
For $200, I'd speculate that there's more to the story here and either they're charging for real diagnostic time (which can be more or less depending on what exactly is involved) or more work is being performed than code diagnostics and we're not getting the full story?
