Tail lights S70 1998

Fenway,

I also have that same problem with my 1998 S70. The only solution I can find for this problem right now is NOT to slam the trunk to close it.

If you can find a more permanent solution, please let us all know !!

It's one of those now-famous Volvo S70's electrical problems on the 1998 models. Talk about safety !
