I have a few more Qs. First off, what is the wierd oscillating/vibration/horrid accelerated abs lock up like feel I'm feeling under normal driving? It really feels wrong. It isn't warpage or a shimmy. I have a feeling the howl I describe when lightly applying the brake is coming from the rear, but then the pulsating comes in and I'm feeling it all thru the brake pedal. The best way I can describe the vibration is that it feels like abs kicking in to prevent wheel lockup at an accelerated pace at regular low speed braking. And worst of all, it likes to come all at once, or sometimes not at all. Could it have anything to do with the EBD?

The new volvo shims, wouldn't they only be good to reduce squeal if anything? Have people had success with these shims or do they still cause trouble? Are the shims even necessary if they are causing all this noise? Could the pads be put right in with the brake quiet tacky stuff right on the backing plate? Anyone try this with success?
