NEED INPUT ON YOUR VOLVO 850 1995

I have been told by a reputable machanic, that it would not be prudent on my part to buy any 850 93 through 96. 97 and up, he says, have far better track record. Even in the earlier problems. So I searched and searched to find 2 97 850T's. One had 80k and one 42k. I have just under $29k in both, for aquisition and getting all things corrected, from minor to a little more than minor. They both have given outstanding service. But I did do lots of "bring up to date and more" things to them... Prior to these cars, my wife had an 87 BMW 735. I was absolutely sure my she was having an affair with a mechanic. Actually, he was having an affair with our checkbook. I had a Mercedes 500 SEL. not quite as bad as the BMW, but still liked my checkbook. Then I aquired a 1989 760 T. What a car!! Ran great, wasn't that expensive to maintain (rememember, I had a BMW) but lots of other drivers loved to hit it with their cars. Three times to be exact. So, here I am with a pair of 850T's. And I ain't complaining...
