Hi, Stop wasting your time and money and get that throttle body of yours cleaned out. The exact same thing happened to me (and i've got an auto!).
It cured my problem.99 times out of 100 this is all Volvo will do and charge you half hours labour. While your in the region of the throttle body, check the small vacuum hoses to make sure there not split or blocked (common fault) Have fun!!!
