How to buy an 850 850 1997

i would agree. i kept a volvo through college. however, it was a 240DL, which is a TOTALLY different car.

i have an 850 right now. i bought it with all the service records, and i knew waht needed to be replaced and what could stay. I also knew that the owner had kept the car well serviced. i had it mechanically inspected and it is a great, reliable ride.

i'm not crossing my fingers becuase i think people tend to report more problems than not on this forum. i'm not saying people are being negative, but if you got a problem, this is where you go.

the big difference between volvos and an accord is there are more accords to choose from, and you can take your time to find a really really nice one. with an 850, just spend a bit longer and do your research. find a car with complete service records, and go from there.

if i was in uni again, i'd get another 240, but i definately wouldn't refuse an 850 either. Find the car you like, a car that's been cared for.
