Brake Shudder Resolved? 850

Sounds to me like you need to rebuild the brake caliper at that wheel, because it is sticking and thus causing premature wear. The vibration is from aftermarket pads which are harder than OEM pads and will cause a shudder. I went through this. The fix is to go back to OEM pads. Your shudder will disappear.

The fix you're speaking of sounds like a band-aid remedy. The fix above will require the time to replace pads and rebuild one caliper.

Hope this helps.
