Is the squeek constant regardless of temperature or more common when
it is cold or hot? I had a similar squeek on my 98 when new and it was
caused by some plastic shims between the glass and the dash. It would
squeek when cold. It was a very high pitched squeek (literally the
edge of a piece of plastic being rubbed against glass). I've mentioned
the same problems to others here with squeeks and to date, nobody has had
the same problem. Still, it took me forever to find it and I thought
I'd mention it. Mine is an early build (Jan, 1997 according to the
