The Volvo one is a series of galvanized flat steel bars, the IPD one is a solid aluminum plate. I bought the Volvo "plate" from Volvo parts discounting dealer Nils Seffeldt 1-800-468-0041. Volvo has a picture in one of their accessories catalogs, if you ask maybe Nils Seffeldt would fax it to you. Another Volvo parts discounter that gets good reviews is Verrigni Marine phone # in pull down menu above. It is HEAVY, consider shipping cost when you're comparing prices.

I did drive over one of those concrete parking lot bumpers a few weeks after I bought my bar....
