Taxlady, if you decide to go so far as to get a Porter Cable random orbital sander for all of this, by all means, DON'T buy it from the site referenced above. It is a complete rip-off in price. Porter Cable is one of the best to get. But at the Griot's garage site, they want $199 for it. That's way too high--really, an outrage that they should ask so much. Go to www.toolseeker.com to get prices from many woodworking sources. The range there is $98 (Walmart mail order) to $119 (many respectable tool vendors).
