Nope. I don't have any of the problems you describe on my 96 wagon. Does the spring in the wiper arm keep the blade firmly pressed to the glass? You might try spraying the joint and spring with a penetrating lubricant and see if it helps. I thing I run a Bosch blade if that is any help.
