Volvo missed the boat when minivans were invented and became mainstream family transport in the '80's. It was busy designing the 850 that would eventually save the company. The 850 was a "can't miss" for the company and has done very well. The problem is that the wagons are just too small for most families on this side of the pond with all the "stuff" we feel we need to carry around. Hopefully, the XC90 will keep them in the fold, but at $40K, I'll stick with the Odyssey I got in October for $25K.
