It must be the 'green' attitude of the company. Nasty chemicals can hurt the earth. It's along the same lines as the glue used in various turn signal assemblies and lets not forget the biodegradable engine wiring harness of the mid '80's. My 740T had one.

One power seat switch assembly in my 965 would not work. I drilled a hole in it and shot it with tuner cleaner. It now operates like new.
