Upper Engine Mount- questions 850 1996

Robo,

I've had IPD bushing on my 850 Turbo for well over 80,000 miles. No reason it won't last forever. OEM on stock 850 turbo is good for about 15,000 miles. IPD suggested imspection of OEM for cracks. Grief ! At range of ten feet , could easily see it was gutted.
Installation is no problem , blindfolded. Only hitch is removal of OEM. I just took a bare hacksaw blade and slipped it through original, then wrapped rag around end and made two cuts pie slice- like. Wetting blade with diluted detergent, it's a snap.
Now, I see below , comments that you'll notice vibration, also that you won't.I immediately noticed a vibration period at about 43-45 mph. Feels like " tire morning sickness" Yes, annoying, but better than surging caused by wrecked OEM, and continual replacement. I have IPD ECU upgrade and exhaust. Doubt OEM would handle increased power longer than 5,000 miles or so.
