Is this your first new car? Why not do as everyone else and simply drive the car normally? Nothing bad will happen.
As for the ol' "break-in" idea, that's very old school and no one even really thinks about that anymore these days. Changing oil after 1000 miles is still something that I'd do but the manufacturers don't recommend it anymore.

Drive the car and be happy :)
