Cold start loud noise 850 1995

It seems as though whenever I start my car after it's sit 4-5 hours the compressor makes a loud squeaking noise for about 5 minutes. Does anyone have this problem? And if so what could it be. Is it the A/C compress that's the problem or some thing indirectly? Thanx
