update: i replaced the flame trap screen (which was missing, for some reason) and there is still dripping. it's not from the flame trap or housing assembly, so i dont' know what it is. i'm sure it's engine oil now, but i can't see where it could be coming from. i assume its right above the transaxle and it's just dripping onto the driveshaft. when the shaft spins, it probably kicks the oil everhwhere and makes a big mess.

it's not a lot of oil, becuase it's not really dripping onto the floor that much. I think i've had this problem for about a week becuase i did notice oen or two drops after sitting the car for about 4 days or so, which was wierd to me becuase this car never leaks oil. i haven't seen any other problems, although it's idling very slightly roughly than i imagined it was before.
