Exactly.

Usually one bad Volvo dealer will generate enough competent yet disgruntled techs to supply one indy shop. We have 2 Volvo dealers and 1 SAAB dealer locally.

I have 3 fine indy shops (2 Volvo, 1 Volvo/SAAB) within easy driving distance.

Trying to keep one of these cars running to warranty/factory specs ("replace everything with new parts") is insane, IMO. The only way to keep financial sanity is to find an indy.

Also have a fine Mercedes indy shop if my left foot ever gets tired and I need to become shiftless.
