More air S70 1998

Ed,

I forgot to mention that I already installed a K&N air filter since Jan. 2002.

My Dad and I thought that we could have more air flow, if we remove that plastic part, but if it is for protection, I would leave it.

My Dad and I just looked at the part again, and we now think maybe we could drilled a few holes. Any opinions about that mod ?

Once again, I really appreciate your input.
