Power steering fluid- when to change? 850 1996

Jesus, don't use power steering fluid unless you want to fry your system. Volvo designed these for use with ATF like the manual CLEARLY states. I used Synthetic ATF like others have mentioned in this post and I flush at least once a year because it is cheap and easy to do.

95 850 5 speed 114,000.
