Leo,

I was exactly in your situation in May with my
1998 V70GLT. At that time the dealer gave me two
options: they can do the driving cycle and charge for
2 hours of labor or they can give me the instructions
how to drive the car. I did it by myself and was able
to get the computer to set the readiness flag (the
dealer checked it for free).
