Wiper problems 850 1995

I had similar problems with our 95 854 & 855 with the worse case on the 855. I purchased a new wiper arm from Volvo and put it on my 16 year old's 854 and it cleared up his problem completely. I noticed that the thicker portion (between wiper motor and pivot) was shaped flatter then the original arms on our 2 cars. I then put his old arm on my 855 and it was a 95% fix.
