Won't start 850

I have a '96 850 Turbo. All of a sudden, the car won't start. The symptoms are that the interior lights are dim and when the key is turned the inside lights go out and there is no starting sound of any kind-no clicking, turning over or anything. The car started instantly in response to a jump start from another battery. Once I turned the engine off, same deal.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? battery, ignition switch, alternator, etc.
