Had this problem. Here's what I did. S70 1999

I had this problem. What I did was take out the light fixture assembly, removed the lamps, and cleaned the contacts of both the fixture and the lamps with emery cloth. I spritzed the receptacles with Tri-Flo, and reinstalled. That was six months ago...no problems since.

Seems this fixture is susceptible to corrosion.
