Oil change S70 1999

With 2600 miles on our 'new' NA S70 I'm about to do it's first oil change and I have a couple of questions. Now the dealer told me to change @5k, but I've always done 3k and we're going to do a NJ-FL roundtrip in a couple of weeks so I'll feel a whole lot better doing it before we go. Finally, I checked it yesterday and it looked rather dirty.

Filters -

Where's the best online for ordering?

Do I need a special wrench? I noticed during it's pre-purchase inspection that the filter is tucked in it's own little space and I'm not certain my current wrench will work. Reminded me of searching high and low for the filter on my '94 S-10 Blazer. Finally found hidden behind the airbox.

Oil - Before searching through the manual, which weight? Still deciding between going synthetic or not, but probabaly will.
