Sunroof Gasket 850

Just had my 96 854 painted...
The seal that goes around the outside edge of the sunroof was very slightly damaged..apparently it fot stuck to the new paint in a few places. The outside top edge has two small holes in it...do I need to worry about this? I noticed it is not sealed in the back of the sunroof where the gasket ends meet.
