How do you break in to a Volvo? 850 1993

I think what you are talking about is a hole that has always been there but is normally covered with a small rubber plug. I believe it's so you can spray lubricant on the latch mechanism. Check the passenger side door to see if a little rubber plug is located in the same spot.
