Instructions are in the manual. It's done by playing with the H and M inutes on the digital clock.
My car came from Canada, and the mileometer was converted in Michigan by a company called Odessa (sp?).
I kept the celsius climate control faceplate. 20C = room temperature (68F). The horizontal US setting 72F is labeled 22C on the European....which would not be accurate if you did the math, but close enough for climate control.
I wouldn't change the odo, personally, at least not if you're planning to come back with it. You can do the conversion in your head (in approximate terms, 60mi = 100km). Give you something to think about while waiting in line to pay those usurious European highway tolls.
