coolant flush/recommendation? - Coolant Testers C70 2000

QUESTION:
If the specific gravity is different for every coolant product out there, do we need to purchase a separate coolant tester for:
* Volvo o.e. coolant
* Prestone
* Peak
* Prestone extended life, dextron-approved
etc.?

I always figured I should have protection to -40F. I had always hoped to use the same Prestone tester for the green stuff I bought in 1978....
