Radio Amp location ??? S80 2002

Thanks Herb. I located a large black electrical component under my '99 T6 RF seat. I can't believe that it requries software to operate properly. Is my 100 watt amp under my '02 RF seat as well? How does software impact the performace of the amp? Can I use an aftermarket product to upgrade my 2002 T6 100 watt amp? Will I be subject to a software fix as well?

Any recommendations?
