It's likely to work but I've never tryed it before so I'm not sure. Worth a shot, it's not hard to remove.
It's possible that different software is required to make the 200 watt amp work so if it plugs in yet doesn't work at all in the '02 car, at that point a trip to the dealer for software would cure that "assuming" that the 200 watt amp is the same PN between those years. A dealers parts dept could double check the PN for you in advance too but if the #'s are different, probably won't know if it'll work either. You're the first person that I know of who's trying swapping amps in an S80.
