Since you have a turbo, I'd use a Volvo filter. They can handle the increased oil pressure/flow from the turbo better than a regular brand. Also, I would fill with 5 qts. Castrol regular and 1 qt. castrol full synthetic (10W-30, or whatever depending on the weather etc...).
