over the weekend i flushed and changed the coolant as it had been in there a few years, but i didn't use volvo coolant instead i used a product called halfords advanced coolant/antifreeze!!!!

this is ethlene/glycol based silicate free acid formula (it is pink in colour is this ok for my car i read that ONLY volvo type c cooloant should be used but i found this out after i did the work. dohhh!!!

the car still runs ok but it takes slightly longer to warm up

any ideas??
