Consider also the O2 sensor. My car (1996 850R 135k) idled poorly and hestitated during acceleration, ie poor throttle response. After new plugs, cap, rotor, cleaned TB, and new Mass Air Sensor, the problem still remained. The fix was a new O2 sensor even though it hadn't throw any codes. The car runs/idles like a dream. The tranny shifts better too.
