I went to start my car and the lights turn on and the dash lights light up but there is nothing happening. It is like the started is going or the security system has engaged so that the car won't start. I turn the car off and have tried to open and close the locks with the remote. On one occassion nothing happened I played with it a few times and still nothing . then I played with the switch and the locks all to no avail. Finally I would try the key and away it started.

This has happened about 3 times in thte last two days. This morning I wiggled the shifter( auto) as well and the next tiem I tried the switch it started.

I would appreciate your thoughts or if any one else had this problem. I am one of the few that drives 42,000+miles per year with total miles being 229,000 and still climbing (for those using kilometers that is 370,000). I am suspecting the car is going to start costing me significant money as it has been very good up to now. (brakes, exhaust header, timing belts, heater motor.) Plus a few deer ate the hood, lights, grill, headlight wiper blades and motors, rad, ect.)
