More Power needed S70 2000

I installed a K&N air filter in my '99 S70 n/a and didn't notice much of an improvement in power. I read that the '98 S70 had less restrictive emissions control and produced 6 more horsepower than the '99 and '00 (168hp versus 162hp). Maybe a less restrictive aftermarket exhaust would make some more power?
