Vibration when stopped and in Gear V70-XC70 1998

Your vibration could be due to a bad motor mount.....causing undue vibration in the exhaust system. When my '98 had a bad lower right mount, I could feel/hear vibtaions all over the car.

One your other question, I have been able to reset the check engine light by unhooking the battery on a '98. You have to leave it disconnected for like 20 minutes. Be sure you have your radio code.
