850 front speakers not working 850 1995

mine cut in and out after i replaced the oem with something nicer, turned out the new speakers were deeper than oem, magnet was making contact with metal in door, your best starting point for troubleshooting is to try and make it happen. When is it always working? not working? It would be strange to have both speakers have problems at same time, you can pull your deck unit, just have code handy, checl contacts, jiggle wires from there to try and make them cut out. good luck
