Just another item to consider. My 93 850 had the magnets fall off the speakers on the front dash. This was found only after removing the front dash to install a trip computer. I was able to find the drivers side magnet, put the passenger side magnet has eluded search efforts. I presume it will be found when the air bag is replaced. I know this does not cover an intermintent problem, but you may want to check the dash speakers for proper performance.
