I suspect that you are in the minority. I have a '98 S70T5M. Its got 30,000 miles on it. I bought it new.
In winter, its a rattling nightmare. The dashboard rattles (I taken the dash cover off, but have not located the source). The steering wheel groans everytime I turn it more than a quarter-turn. The sunroof rattles.
In winter, when I start off, the clutch "groans" all the time. When I cross a set of railway tracks, the audio system volume goes way up - on its own.
In winter, the bulb-out light is always lit ( the rear light socket is not making contact with the bulb). Its a pain having to play with the bulbs.
So what do I like.... I like the engine, I like the style of the car. Its just too bad that after only 30,000 miles, the car feels like a LADA. You'd think that VOLVO would know how to build cars for use in winter.
