Thank you V70-XC70

Thanks for the response.
It is too bad that volvo customer service wouldn't tell me about the simple repairs nor would the 4 different dealers I have asked (1 NC, 1 ME, 1 SC, 1 PA).
Come to think of it, a regional volvo tech rep drove the car at about 75k and I asked him about the new slight whirring noise under the console then? No response forecoming from him except to tell me to change my transmission fluid every 15k miles. When I finally figured out exactly what it was and called volvo customer service about the cost of the "shaft" no kindly nor customer economical response then either. It really isn't though I went to one dealer, got the big lie and then started complaining, I have sat on this problem, waited while looking in the forums to see if anyone else said anything, waited to see which part was glowing red under the car, Posted a couple of times asking if anyone else had a clue. No reasonable answers. I have been very patient.

You must work at a very special place. Why didn't any tech respond so kindly when I asked about the driveshaft support bearing 3 years ago at 79K miles in this same forum? Or when I fussed at people when they ask if they should buy a '98 v70 awd? I was very kind in yesterday's email compared to what I tell people when they ask if they should buy one.

Once again, Thanks for the customer service. You work at an atypical dealership not at typical one from my experience.
