Volvo 850 - A/C article

The AC article is a tad inaccurate:
"Don’t overlook the expansion valve or thermoswitch; they may not be doing their job. And a frozen evaporator could develop a small leak in no time"

Neither of those two antique AC devices exist on an 850. "Frozen evaps" is not a problem or the cause of why they leak in 850s.

Adding AC dye and leak testing with a blacklight (when the freon's low again) IS the correct proceedure but doing that job correctly isn't one for most people IMHO.
