850 intercooler 850 1994

Well the problem is that if its cracked at all it will allow almost all the positive pressure from the turbo to escape through the crack and you'll only get ambient pressure to the throttle body and intake. Try and remove the intercooler and see exactly how bad its damaged. If its not too bad you can repair it with epoxy glue and duct tape (black). If all the pieces are still there just apply epoxy glue to the cracks and put tape over the repair then set the intercooler so that the repair is on the bottom and the epoxy will only stay in the cracks and dry (harden). Let it sit for a day curing and then do a pressure test on it by sealing one end and blowing into the other and see if its sealed, should be. That repair will last forever, or until your wife hits another curb? Good luck ........ Mike
