ATF FLUSH METHOD: OFFICIAL vs. BAY13 850 1995

I did the flush 2 times and both using the offical Volvo method. The offical method is more involved than the Bay13 method (battery and battery tray removal to gain access to the lower tranny hose) and it will flush the ATF in the cooler too.

You can drain the ATF from the tranny pan first than use Bay13 method to flush. This will be the mix of these 2 methods.

I used 12 quarts Mobil 1 ATF in these 2 times.
