Did the shop pull the codes? Did they eliminate the PNP switch as a possible problem (much cheaper, but must be fixed for reliable tranny operation)?

For salvaged parts, do a nationwide search on www.car-part.com. I see ABS units for $300, give or take. Installation is easy.
