Would you ? (oil additive) 850 1994

I bought a 95 turbo with a rear main seal oil leak.
I had heard that switching Mobil 1 sometimes will help
the seal and reduce the leak. That seems to be true in
my case. My leak seems to have been reduced significantly
within 300 miles of switching over. I was having to add
oil. Since the oil change the oil level has not dropped.
I still need to get under the car to check that it has
stopped completely.
