experiences with the 1999 V70R V70-XC70

Although not a '99, I currently own a 1998 V70R with 82,000 miles. I love it overall. I find the mileage to be decent (21mpg) for a big AWD car. It is fast and comfortable with a great stereo. It has been nice to drive in Michigan winters. It has a few more squeaks and rattles than I would expect for a car of its price range, but I still love it.

I have had the shift mode selector switches replaced, rear drivers side lock replaced, fuel pump (warranty), ignition lock and the usual recall stuff.

Although not as bulletproof as my Civic or my old BMW bike, it's a loveable beast.
