How about an Audi wagon(the A6 2.7T are very nice) since you're in a snow belt area?? Just as "name brand" as the Bimmer and it usually has AWD. Or if you wish to be more pratical and save some $$$, a Sube wagon should work fine; they have pefected 4WD to a science. Either way you can't go wrong. good luck, BD
