I had exactly your problem on my 850R after replacing all rotors and pads. It was solved by getting the special set of Volvo rea shims which have a part of the shim cut away. The regular shims will not do the trick, you can get more details on the Volvospeed site, (rear brake repair) in which they discuss modifying the reglar shims to convert them to the cut away version.
