Our '96 does the same thing (83K). Probably need to go to a shop with Volvo scan tool that can pull ABS codes. I checked around here and they charge between $59-75. Depending on the code, it could also be loose wiring crimps located under fuse box holder causing it.

My climate control also flashes a fault, so I figure one day I'll take it in to get codes read for both things.
